On Saturday, August 31, the memory of the guards of the 1st Presidential Brigade of Operational Assignment named after Hetman Petro Doroshenko, who died while performing an official task for the protection of public order, will be honored. Then a battle grenade was thrown at the soldiers. Unfortunately, four guards died from the explosion.

Together with their parents, the guards commemorate the dead colleagues with a minute of silence and the laying of flowers at the memorial plaque, which is placed on the building of the Verkhovna Rada.

Start of the event: at 10:00.

Venue: Constitution Square near the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

After the event, the participants will go to Solomenskaya Square, where they will lay flowers to the Memorial “Courage, Loyalty, Heroism of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine” and memorial plaques, where the names of the deceased law enforcement officers are immortalized.
