Tasks assigned to the chief specialist of the department:

• data collection according to specified criteria from various sources (background information of central executive bodies, on-call services, Internet, media, video surveillance systems);
• generalization and processing of data arrays;
• monitoring of the situation and prompt provision of generalized and detailed information about the current situation;
• preparation of information and analytical-presentation materials based on the results of the analysis of generalized information about emergency situations, resonant events, etc.;
• modeling the development of events, the consequences of certain actions, without waiting for the onset of a crisis situation;
• forecasting the development of the situation and choosing the best option of managing influences based on the assessment of management effectiveness, reliability of forecasts, risks and other criteria.

Requirements for candidates:

• higher legal education;
• knowledge of legislation regulating the activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and other regulatory legal acts;
• proficiency in the state language (knowledge of English at B1 level and above is an additional advantage);
• skills in working with Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel), as well as graphic editors CorelDRAW and Adobe Photoshop.
  

Requirements for personal and professional qualities:

• high motivation and focus on qualitative changes in the state;
• analytical abilities, the ability to systematize, summarize information;
• sociability; decency, independence, organization, responsibility;
• perseverance, determination, ability to quickly make decisions in conditions of limited time;
• resistance to stress, emotional and physical stress;
• ability to express one's opinion in a reasoned manner.
