They accused the guy of taking pictures of military facilities and stole his phone: suspected attackers reported
Law enforcement officers in Odessa have exposed two young men in robbery. Both attackers stopped a passer-by boy and accused him of photographing military objects.
The young man began to object and took out a mobile phone from his bag to prove the absence of prohibited photos in it. One of the attackers ripped a gadget worth three thousand hryvnias from the hands of a minor. And then he ran away with his partner.
The boy caught up with the offenders, demanding to return the smartphone, but also received a punch in the face. The attackers fled, and the victim turned to the territorial police department.
In a few days, law enforcement officers located the offenders, searched the property and returned it to the owner.
Law enforcement officers informed the defendants about the suspicion of robbery, combined with violence that is not dangerous to the life or health of the victim, committed according to a previous conspiracy by a group of persons, in conditions of martial law. This crime qualifies under Part 4 of Article 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and is punishable by imprisonment for a term of seven to ten years.
The court chose a preventive measure for the suspects in the form of house arrest.
