Dear brothers of Chernobyl!
Dear ladies and gentlemen!

Today, April 26, Ukraine and many countries of the world celebrate as a day of remembrance, the day of the Chernobyl disaster, its 38th anniversary. The greatest man-made, environmental tragedy of the 20th century, the echoes of which are felt by millions of victims, families of dead and dead Ukrainians and citizens of many countries.

The issue of nuclear safety at the international level is particularly relevant in connection with the terrorist activities of the Russian Federation. Having occupied the Chernobyl NPP in February 2022, and subsequently the largest nuclear power plant in Europe - Zaporizhia NPP, which to this day is in the hostile, criminal hands of the Russians - invaders, destroyers, ruthless killers of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian citizens. their mass atrocities Bullying, torturing our compatriots will never be forgotten!

Millions of Ukrainians are in captivity, suffering and dying. The Ukrainian people will never forget and will never forgive this tragedy!

The Ukrainian people now, in our tragic days, united, contribute, help the Ukrainian Defense Forces with the help of international partners, millions of friendly, caring citizens of many countries of the world, who give a worthy rebuff to the occupying terrorists of the Russian Federation.

Ukrainians, as in 1986, heroically overcome the bloody Russian enemy in our armed struggle for independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine within the internationally recognized borders of 1991. For our right to live and create in a peaceful, peace-loving country. For our European choice to be equal members of the European Union and NATO.

This is our choice. It is a historic choice of Ukrainians to have their own Ukrainian state and to be proud that we are Ukrainians.

We, the Ukrainians, proved in stormy days, months and years, heroically, courageously and selflessly overcame the catastrophic consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in 1986. Thousands of participants in the elimination of the consequences of the Chernobyl tragedy, first of all, firemen, heroes-firefighters at the cost of their lives, acted professionally and courageously, stopped the spread of fire at the nearby nuclear reactors. This was the undying feat of firefighter heroes. Eternal glory, honor and honor to them! Lifelong human love and gratitude!

Hundreds of thousands of participants in the elimination of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, and first of all, energy workers, personnel of internal affairs bodies and internal troops, scientists, servicemen, miners, builders, transporters, medical workers, rear support workers and others. All of them worked daily, without days off with the sole desire to overcome the consequences of the tragedy as soon as possible. Sincere gratitude, honor and respect to all of them!

By their heroic work, the liquidators of Chernobyl deserved a decent life, the constant care of the state, all bodies of state power and local self-government, the whole public, so that their life and health would be reliably protected, and not become impoverished.

This is the duty of all branches of government of Ukraine, of the entire Ukrainian society. Chernobyl liquidators should not be petitioners of the current authorities, but have the legal right to a decent life guaranteed by the Constitution of Ukraine and the legislation of Ukraine.

We, Chernobyl liquidators of the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, are grateful to the leadership of the Ministry, the leadership of the National Police of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the State Border Service of Ukraine, the State Migration Service of Ukraine, especially medical workers, as well as all those who constantly help the participants to eliminate the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant for support and assistance, assistance in solving vital social issues and human needs. We hope that in the future we will experience daily
support of Chernobyl liquidators, families of the dead and dead.

Chernobyl residents should not be petitioners, not fight for their existence, but be reliably protected by the state. They deserved it for their conscientious, many years of work.

And now, in the time of historical trials, the struggle against the historical enemy of Ukrainians of the Russian Federation, the veterans of Chernobyl do not stand aside, but make a possible contribution to the inevitable Victory over the Russian Federation, a terrorist country, an invader, an occupier. Ukraine will win!

I wish you, dear Chernobyl brethren, your families happy longevity, good health and well-being.
