Changing the color of the car requires its re-registration
In accordance with the current legislation, color change requires mandatory re-registration of the updated car in one of the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The car owner or authorized person can contact any of our establishments, regardless of place of residence or registration, with the following documents:
— passport;
— identification number; — power of attorney for an authorized
person (if necessary); — vehicle registration certificate.
It is important that if two or more colors are applied to the car, then the main color of the vehicle is considered to be the one that occupies more than 50% of the visible part of the body. For trucks, this is the color of the cab.
Interestingly, when registering a car, only the following are entered in the “color” column: black, blue, green, beige, red, purple, orange, yellow, white, brown, gray.
