“The life of people is the highest value, and their salvation is the best work”, - border guard Ivan
Quite early, the guy decided on the future profession and after grade 9 entered the medical college. Subsequently, he continued his studies at the National Medical University named after him. O.O. Bogomoletsa in Kiev.
During his studies, Ivan worked as a nurse at the Kiev Emergency Medical Center, mastering the medical business in practice. After graduating from the university, the young doctor entered an internship. In parallel, he worked as a doctor in one of the villages of his native Vinnytsia region.
In 2017, Ivan signed a contract with the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and became a trainee of the department of postgraduate training of the medical department of the Main Military-Medical Clinical Center of the DPSU. Success in training and work experience in medical institutions did not go unnoticed, then Ivan was appointed to the post of head of the health service of the border detachment, which performed combat tasks as part of the United Forces.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russian troops, the work of doctors came to the fore. Ivan understood responsibility and did not save himself from the challenge, motivating by the personal example of his colleagues.
Wounded, sick and just tired fighters - Ivan pays attention to everyone and provides timely assistance, and he does not forget about civilians, including residents of the Svyatogorsk and Lyman territorial communities. Many trials fell on him: a rocket strike in Kramatorsk on the railway station, where he provided medical assistance to the victims, and the search for burials and identification of the bodies of the dead.
Ivan himself says that people's lives are the highest value, and their salvation is the best work.
