Raped and killed 16-year-old girl: police detain man (video)
Police have arrested a suspect in the murder and rape of a 16-year-old girl. The crime was committed on September 4 around midnight in the city of Pyatikhatky, Dnipropetrovsk region.
Then the mother of the girl contacted the law enforcement officers and reported that there was no contact with her daughter. The body of the teenager was found by police on September 5 around 3 p.m. with signs of rape and violent death.
Law enforcement officers studied the territory of the city, interviewed almost all residents, studied the recordings of video cameras, inspected more than a thousand cars and checked for involvement in the crime committed about 600 people.
And on September 23, law enforcement officers managed to get on the trail of the suspect. He turned out to be a 46-year-old previously convicted local resident. The man was detained as a result of operational measures and investigative actions, forensic examination, in particular DNA examination.
The suspect was searched by law enforcement officers. On September 24, the offender was informed of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense, provided for in paragraph 10 part 2 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The man was selected for a preventive measure in the form of detention.
