Statement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the illegality of visits by foreign journalists to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine
Today, in some media there are reports of the intentions of the Russian Federation to attract foreign journalists to spread propaganda and fakes. In order to hide the consequences of war crimes, it is planned to organize their arrival in the temporarily occupied Mariupol, Kherson, Nova Kakhovka, Skadovsk, Armyansk Donetsk and other Ukrainian cities.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine warns foreign media representatives against such reckless and illegal actions and informs that Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia, Kherson region, Autonomous Republic of Crimea are internationally recognized Ukrainian territories.

The national legislation of Ukraine provides for criminal liability for illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine, as well as for violation of the procedure for entering the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
For committing these crimes against a person, regardless of citizenship, punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to 8 years will be applied!
