“West-2023”: DPSU units will be reinforced by military and security forces
Operation “West-2023” will take place within the Transcarpathian and Chernivtsi regions. The active phase of the joint special border operation will last two months.
The events were organized on the initiative of the State Border Guard Service in order to counteract the intensification of illegal activities at the state border, increase efforts in the protection of the state border, strengthen control over compliance with the state border regime and border regime. As well as stabilization of the situation in the areas of responsibility of border detachments, adequate influence on its development and improvement of operational and service activities.
The special operation will be carried out by Mukachevo, Chop and Chernivtsi border detachments in cooperation with employees of the National Guard of Ukraine, units of the National Police and Security Service of Ukraine, territorial units of staffing and social support, state authorities and local self-government with active involvement of departmental pilot of unmanned and unmanned aviation.
As part of the operation, monitoring of compliance with the state border regime and border regime will be strengthened.
