Detained 11 violators and found a box with hundreds of ammunition: how the day passed with the border guards
Border guards detained five men for attempting to cross the border illegally and discovered a box containing nearly 900 rounds of armor-piercing incendiary bullets.
The border guards of the Mukachevo detachment on the border with Hungary detained five men. Three - detained the border outfit from the “Forks” department. Two of the detainees intended to cross the state border illegally, the third volunteered to help them. One of the carrier's wards has already managed to give the organizers of his trip 6 thousand dollars, and his fellow traveler has agreed with them on transportation “with cash on delivery”.
In order to investigate the circumstances of the offense, all three were sent to the border unit.
Two more violators were found and detained by the servicemen of the Luzhanka department. The men were traveling by regular bus. At one of the checkpoints, they could not explain to the border guards the purpose of their arrival in Transcarpathia.
Later, during the survey, the men said that at the direction of an unknown person, they had to pay 4 thousand dollars. They had to come to the city of Beregovo, and then they were to be met and transferred across the Ukrainian-Hungarian border.
To clarify all the circumstances and draw up protocols on administrative offenses provided for in Art. 204-1 KUPAP “Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine”, detainees were taken to border units.
In addition, during the testing of settlements included in the Exclusion Zone and Unconditional (Compulsory) Settlement, border guards discovered 7.62×54mm ammunition.
During the inspection of the abandoned building, the soldiers found a box with almost nine hundred cartridges with armor-incendiary bullets.
In total, on November 30, 61 thousand people and 17 thousand vehicles crossed the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova (in the Chernivtsi region).
33 thousand people left Ukraine. 20 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest followed to other EU countries and Moldova.
28 thousand people followed to Ukraine, 24 thousand of them - citizens of Ukraine.
11 people were detained for attempting to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine.
