Global Donation Platform Launched in Support of Ukraine
The fundraising platform for collecting donations in support of Ukraine United24 was launched today by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
United24 is a global initiative of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, which brings together people from all over the world around helping Ukraine.
The main goal of the project is to increase donations in favor of Ukraine, to ensure efficiency and transparency of their distribution.
Funds are directed in three directions:
1. Defense and demining — procurement of weapons, helmets, body armor, ammunition, rescue equipment, as well as demining of objects; 2.
Humanitarian and medical assistance — providing Ukraine with the necessary medicines, medical equipment and transport, as well as restoring the work of health facilities damaged as a result of hostilities; 3.
Reconstruction of Ukraine — restoration of critical infrastructure, namely: roads, bridges, schools and hospitals; restoration of electricity, communications, water supply.
All collected funds are sent to the NBU accounts assigned to the relevant ministries:
• Ministry of Defense of Ukraine; • Ministry of Health of Ukraine;
• Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
Every day, the NBU reports on the amount of funds raised, and weekly reports from the relevant ministries are received.
Also, the consulting and audit company “Deloitte” in Ukraine, which is part of the international network Deloitte, joins the United24 platform. One of the world leaders in the industry, which is part of the so-called “big four” audit companies, will check the consolidated report of all ministries on a quarterly basis.
Everyone can donate: private donors, opinion leaders, public and political figures, as well as charitable foundations and non-profit organizations, commercial structures (technology companies, industrial giants, investment funds, IT sector, retail, developers, cinema, sports, fashion).
How to make a donation?

Choose a transfer method. 3.
Choose what the donation should be used for from three options (“Defense and demining”, “Humanitarian and medical care” or “Reconstruction of Ukraine”).
