Zaporizhzhya National Guards donated blood for brothers and civilians
It is not the first time that National Guard fighters support such initiatives because they understand well how important it is to replenish the blood bank in times of war. So there were a lot of people willing to do a good deed.
Zaporizhzhya region remains one of the hottest points of manifestation of armed aggression of the Russian Federation. The occupation forces do not stop shelling civilian buildings, infrastructure facilities and continue constant attempts to break through the defense. Due to military aggression, the need for donors in the region has increased and is consistently high. Donor blood is needed by both defenders and civilians affected by hostilities. The guards also make their contribution to the help of one of the Zaporizhzhya medical institutions.
“I try to donate blood regularly. In this difficult time of war, each of us shared our part for the common cause — the salvation of people. Today, Ukrainians pay a high price for freedom and independence, shed their own blood in fierce confrontations with the enemy. Everyone fights on their own front and shares their own physical, material and spiritual resources in order to save fellow citizens,” commented guard Oleksandr.
