Zaporizhzhya region: rescuers escorted residents evacuated from Zaporizhia
On November 18, rescuers evacuated pensioners and disabled people who lived in one of the communities in the region.
Most people are elderly, physically disabled and need ongoing help from social workers. In total, 11 people were put on the train to get to a safer area.
The soldiers of the State Emergency Service helped citizens board the train and loaded the necessary things. For now, the evacuees are heading to a safer place where they will be provided with medical and psychological care.
Two units of equipment and 11 personnel were recruited from the State Emergency Service.
