Intimidated local residents and looters: police reported suspicion of another collaborator
As the investigators found out, in 2022, a resident of the village of Turove of the Zolochiv community, during the temporary occupation, voluntarily repaired automobile equipment, which was taken away from local residents by the rashists. The occupiers then used it to transport shells.
In addition, the attacker provided information about local residents who support Ukraine, members of the ATO/PLO, military Armed Forces of Ukraine and law enforcement officers.
Currently, investigators of the police department No. 2 of the Bogodukhiv RVP GUNP in Kharkiv region have opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 111-2 (aiding a state aggressor) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of 10 to 12 years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of 10 to 15 years and with or without confiscation of property.
Under the procedural guidance of the Bogodukhiv District Prosecutor's Office under the operational support of the SBU, the investigators informed the 36-year-old attacker about the suspicion of committing a crime.
The man was selected for a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of 60 days.
