Death of two underage girls: a man who provided his apartment for drug use will appear in court
After establishing all the circumstances of the incident and conducting a number of examinations, the police sent the indictment to the court. The defendant is currently in custody and faces up to eight years in prison.
The event took place in June this year in a house on Umanskaya Street. The bodies of two underage girls were found in the entrance. The investigative and operational team of the Solomensky Police Department, operatives and a forensic expert worked on the spot.
After conducting a number of investigative actions, the police found out that two girls asked a friend for the key to his apartment on Umanska Street, where they later used psychotropic substances - PVP salts. In the morning at this address, 15-year-old girlfriends were found dead.
Law enforcement officers detained the 46-year-old owner of the apartment in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and initiated criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 317 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - provision of premises for the purpose of illegal use of psychotropic substances with the involvement of minors. Under the procedural guidance of the district prosecutor's office, the police informed the detainee of the suspicion.
Investigators of the Solomensky Police Department completed the pre-trial investigation and sent the indictment to the court for consideration of the case on the merits. The sanction of the article provides for a sentence of four to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.
