Collection of DNA samples from Ukrainians abroad: online recording started
Online registration for the donation of DNA samples for Ukrainians abroad has been started. A preliminary record is necessary in order to determine in which countries and cities there is a request to open additional biomaterials selection points and attract specialists.
“To organize a high-quality search, we need more information. Our citizens can electronically fill out this questionnaire remotely or come to the commissioner in the regions,” said the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs implements the project together with the International Commission on Missing Persons. The collection points will operate on the basis of foreign missions of the State Migration Service. Biological materials will be handed over to investigators of the National Police for the search and identification of persons missing in special circumstances.

- tentative date
Remember - voluntary donation of DNA samples can speed up the difficult process of searching for the missing.
