According to the results of the joint implementation of law enforcement officers, the National Police conducts a full audit of the activities of the criminal unit of the Dnieper police
The result of the measures initiated according to the internal security materials of the National Police in May last year was the implementation of the Security Service of Ukraine together with the State Bureau of Investigation under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office: yesterday, June 18, investigative actions were carried out in the Dniprovsky district police department of Dnipropetrovsk In the region, four policemen and six civilians were detained.
As part of the investigation of criminal proceedings, the internal security of the National Police comprehensively assists representatives of other law enforcement agencies in identifying all those involved in illegal activities. The head and deputy head of the regional police department are removed from their duties and in the future a decision will be made on their positions.
In the Dniprovskyi district department of the police of the Dnipropetrovsk region, investigative actions were carried out in the offices of criminal investigation officers. As a result, four police officers were detained in the order of Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
On the fact of the involvement of police officers in illegal actions, the main inspectorate conducts an official investigation. In addition, the leadership of the National Police initiated a full audit of the activities of the criminal unit of the Dnieper district police department, in particular, each operational officer will undergo a polygraph examination.
The internal security of the National Police will continue to work to identify police officers who have violated the law, and therefore, together with other law enforcement agencies, will carry out all necessary operational and investigative measures to bring violators to justice.
