In half a year, the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs produced more than 35 thousand driver's licenses, which were ordered online
Today, exactly half a year ago, the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and SE “INFOTEH” began to provide online services for exchanging or renewing a driver's license online during the martial law in Ukraine.
So, since the resumption of service in October 2022 and the beginning of April 2023, the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received 39,599 applications for the exchange or renewal of a driver's license through the Electronic Cabinet. Administrators reviewed these online applications and approved the production of 35,575 driver's licenses. Of these, almost 18 thousand drivers were delivered to customers of the service through JSC “Ukrposhta”.
Most often, customers of online driver's license exchange services ask about the timing of consideration of applications and about the statuses in the “My Services” section. In general, the deadline for consideration of the application is up to 10 days. But for the duration of martial law, the terms of consideration and provision of services may be extended due to circumstances of force majeure, such as frequent air alarms or power outages.
When a person submits an online application for the exchange of a driver's license through the electronic driver's office, they first go through the following steps:
- the application is sent to the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
- the application is received at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs; - hired.
After the application is processed by the administrator of the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, its status in the “My services” section may change to successful or not. In the status, this is displayed in two ways:
- a driver's license is produced;
- or a driver's license is refused.
The reasons for refusal can be different and they are always indicated in the explanation before the refusal. Each user of the Driver's Electronic Cabinet can review their reason for failure. For half a year, there were 3,671 such applications with refusals to the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In case of successful consideration and production of a driver's license, the customer of the service receives a driver's license either personally at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which he chose when submitting the application, or through the parcel of JSC “Ukrposhta”.
