Over the past day, the police opened 32 criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes of the Russian army in the Kherson region
Russian troops massively shelled Beryslav and Kherson districts. The enemy used artillery, mortars, rocket systems of volley fire and UAVs. 7 ammunition was dropped by the Russian army on residential quarters of Beryslav, as a result of a drone attack. Service vehicles of police officers and local residents were damaged.
There were also explosions in Kherson during the day. Russian occupation troops from the left bank of the Dnieper shelled the coastal areas of the city, the center, the Korabel neighborhood and the suburbs. The shockwave in high-rise and private houses knocked out windows and doors, damaged the church, cars, and warehouses caught fire.
Two local residents were wounded during the shelling by the occupiers of Lviv village. They have mine blast injuries and gunshot fractures. Two people were injured in the village of Nikolskoye, where private houses were damaged as a result of explosions. After the shelling of Veletenske village, 12 local residents turned to the police with claims of damaged houses and outbuildings.
Law enforcement officers recorded two incidents with explosive objects. In a forest strip near the village of Mala Oleksandrivka, while collecting firewood, a 35-year-old local resident stepped on a mine. The man was taken to the hospital with a mine blast injury. And in the village of Pravdyne there was a tragedy. An 18-year-old man hit a mine at the former positions of the Russian military. As a result of the injuries, the young man died.
On the facts of violation of the laws and customs of war, the investigators opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
