Over the past two days, the police opened 46 criminal proceedings on the facts of Russian war crimes in the Kherson region
The Russian army attacked peaceful settlements in the Kherson region with rocket systems of volley fire, mortars, tanks and artillery. In the regional center, the invaders targeted the coastal areas, the center, the microdistricts of the KhBC, Tavria and Northern.
Enemy shells in the city damaged medical and educational institutions, a bank, the port area and ships, a bus station, a post office, a municipal enterprise, buses, private and apartment buildings burned down there.
There are wounded and dead local residents, they had mine-blast injuries incompatible with life. At the scene of the shelling, all emergency services worked, provided assistance to the victims and documented the consequences of the attacks. Over the past two days, the police opened 46 criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes of the Russian military in the Kherson region.
Also from the temporarily occupied village of Nizhny Sirohozy received information that the Russian military seized and settled in houses, the owners of which left for the territory controlled by Ukraine. Local residents are not allowed into homes by the Russian military.
In addition, information was received from the temporarily occupied village of Verkhniy Rogachik that in November two local collaborators moved into the house where the owners moved to Ukraine-controlled territory, two families from Kherson who came to work in the military occupation administration. Kherson collaborators informed the relatives of the owners that the house is now their property.
At the same time, reports are coming from the temporarily occupied Holopristan urban community that the Russian military is robbing country cooperatives, removing all household appliances and furniture from the houses.
According to all the facts, the investigating police opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (Violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
