A man's minibus was seized for smuggling cigarettes
The attempt to illegally move tobacco products with concealment was stopped by border guards together with customs officers at the Shehyny checkpoint in Lviv region.
Today, April 25, at night, a Renault minibus led by a 64-year-old Ukrainian followed to the neighboring country. Based on the analysis and risk assessment, the vehicle was directed for additional inspection. Subsequently, observers, with the involvement of a service dog, discovered a hidden contraband smoke. Under the cover of the minibus, the man hid more than 1100 packs of cigarettes of various names without stamps of excise duty of Ukraine.
On this fact, customs officers drew up a protocol. Tobacco products and a minibus were taken away. The amount of the estimate will be set additionally.
