Due to the fact of closed shelters in Lviv, the police started criminal proceedings

Today, July 6, during the night shelling, the police received information about at least 10 closed shelters in the city of Lviv.

As Igor Klymenko reported in his Telegram channel, according to this fact, law enforcement officers immediately opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 135 (Leaving in danger) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine Sanction Article provides for punishment — restriction of liberty for a term of up to two years or imprisonment for the same term.

In addition, another criminal proceeding under Part 1 of Art. 367 (Civil negligence) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for up to three years, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years.

Pre-trial investigations are ongoing. Police officers establish those responsible for providing access to shelters, as well as for their maintenance and proper condition.

Police officers of Lviv region are once again reaching out to citizens: if there is no access to the protective structures of civil protection during the “Air Alarm” signal, immediately notify the police on the hotline 102.
