Criminal proceedings have been initiated on the fact of damage to the building in Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv
It was previously established that the room was damaged due to a shot from the RPG-26. The incident qualifies as hooliganism. No one was hurt.
Tonight, the Kiev police received information that there was an explosion in the building, where a lawyer's office is located on one of the floors. The operative on duty immediately sent to the address the explosive service and the investigative-operational team.
According to preliminary information, the shot was fired from RPG-26. The explosion damaged the windows in the offices of the lawyer's office and the facade of the premises. There are no casualties as a result of the incident. Law enforcement officers establish persons involved in this crime. The investigation considers several versions of the perpetrator, the main of which is the professional activity of lawyers.
Information on this fact is included in the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations under Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism). The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of three to seven years. Priority investigative actions are ongoing.
