During the day in Kharkiv region, the rescuers of the State Emergency Service eliminated three fires caused by hostilities
During the day from October 18 to 19, rescuers of the Kharkiv garrison of the State Emergency Service carried out 34 operational sorties, of which: 18 — to eliminate fires, of which 3 are related to fighting operations; 6 — for emergency and rescue work; 6 — to assist the population, police and utilities 4 — another departure.
Fires caused by enemy ammunition hit occurred in Osnovyansk district of Kharkiv (1) and Kupyansk district of the region (2). A warehouse building, a private residential building and an outbuilding were burned.
During the day, 709 explosive objects were removed and defused by the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service.
One of the main directions of maintaining the life support of the population in the deoccupied territories is to provide people with drinking and technical water. To this end, rescuers from the cities of Kupiansk and Izyum brought water in tanks to the residents of the respective communities. In total, people received about 28 tons of drinking water.
