Rescuers destroyed 40 explosive objects in Sumy region during the day
On May 6, on the territory of Sumy region, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine discovered and seized 4 explosive objects, of which 2 were destroyed. Among them, an unguided anti-aircraft missile, 2 artillery shells (30, 125 mm) and a hand grenade (RGD-5).
Dangerous finds were found on the territory of Sumy, Konotop and Akhtyrsky districts.
Also on this day, 38 explosive objects previously discovered in Sumy and Akhtyrsky districts were destroyed.
Rescuers warn citizens to be attentive and careful in case of detection of explosive and other suspicious objects, not to approach them, and even more so not to touch, not to try to move or disassemble.
Do not use nearby means of communication, move to a safe distance, the way in which you have come at least 100 meters. Warn of the possible danger to others and call the operational services on the numbers “101” and “102”.
