More than 600 accidents occurred on the highways of Ukraine during the day, - Yevhenii Yenin
71 people were injured, 7 people were killed. This was announced yesterday on the air of the UAtogether tele-marathon by First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Yevgeny Yenin.
“Every time you turn off the lights, you have to be as careful as possible on the streets. Over the past day, there were more than 600 accidents on the highways of the state, including those injured. 7 people died and 71 people were injured,” Yevgeny Yenin said.
He stressed that law enforcement officers carry out explanatory work with road users:
“We carry out active work primarily with the smallest road users. Both the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and units of the National Police conduct active explanatory work in schools and other educational institutions in order to instill in children a culture of behavior on the road and sidewalks from childhood. And whenever possible, we emphasize those who move against the established rules or do not have reflective elements on dangerous sections of the road,” the First Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.
