For active participation in Russian propaganda, a collaborator from Kharkiv region faces 12 years in prison
A resident of the city of Kupyansk from June to September last year carried out information activities in cooperation with the aggressor state, aimed at supporting the Russian Federation and its armed formations.
The attacker distributed among local residents Russian mobile start-up packages “Mir Telekom”, and also actively called for support of the illegal authorities established by the Russians during the occupation of the Kupyansk region.
On June 7, investigators of the Kupyansk District Police Department under the procedural leadership of the Kupyansk District Prosecutor's Office informed the 31-year-old man about the suspicion under Part 6 of Art. 111-1 (Collaborative activity) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces up to 12 years in prison with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of ten to fifteen years and with or without confiscation of property.
