Two Transcarpathian “scouts” were detained 500 meters from Hungary, who planned to transport a Kiev citizen abroad
Two Transcarpathians, who were going to transfer a 37-year-old Kiev resident through Tisa, were detained by the border guards of the “Forks” department of the Mukachiv detachment.
The outfit found the men 500 meters from the border. During the determination of the purpose of their stay at the border, the soldiers found out that the detainees had to check whether there was a border outfit nearby, because they planned to escort the citizen of Kiev to the border with Hungary.
The “client” himself was waiting for his “assistants” in a car parked on the outskirts of the village of Vilok. A Kiev man dressed in a wetsuit confirmed his intentions to illegally leave the territory of Ukraine and said that he paid 4000 US dollars for this opportunity. During the inspection of the transporter vehicle, border guards discovered an air mattress and a pump to it.
In relation to the Kiev border guards drew up a protocol on administrative offenses provided for in Article 204-1 of the KUPP “Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine”, the case was sent to court.
Regarding the detection in the actions of Transcarpathians signs of a crime stipulated by Article 332 of the Criminal Code, the border guards informed the police officers.
