For $10,000 I negotiated with the TCC and the VLC: in the Odessa region the police detained the organizer of the “scheme”
The defendant promised to positively resolve the issue of the unsuitability of the conscript for service, followed by his removal from the register. The agent was detained by the operatives of the Department of Strategic Investigations in the Odessa region of the National Police together with colleagues of other departments while receiving illegal benefits.
Employees of the National Police continue to thwart corruption schemes that allow conscripts to evade service and leave Ukraine. Another such scheme was eliminated in the Odessa region.
For 10,000 US dollars, the organizer of the “scheme” promised to resolve the issue with the officials of the VLC and the TCC - the recognition of the serviceman as unfit for service and his removal from the register. Obtaining a positive result allowed the man to go outside the country.
On September 27, the defendant was detained while receiving $10,000 of illegal benefits in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. He was informed of the suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 368 (Acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of an illegal benefit by an official) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by TU SBR, located in the city. Nikolaev, under the procedural guidance of the Odessa specialized prosecutor's office in the field of defense of the Southern region.
