Police evacuated three families with children from Kherson and Komyshan
On the right bank of the Kherson region, evacuation measures continue for families with children from settlements that are being massively shelled by the Russian army. Occupiers target residential buildings and civilian infrastructure, almost daily Russian shells kill and maim civilians.
So the police carry out explanatory work with people and offer assistance in evacuations to safer regions of Ukraine.
Over the past two days, a woman with her daughter and grandson who live in Kherson in the “Korabel” neighborhood, which is almost the most affected by Russian shelling, agreed to leave the shelling. This family survived the occupation and flooding, but due to increased enemy shelling, it was extremely dangerous to remain on the Island, so the family decided to leave.
Forced to leave their home and two families with three children from Komyshan. People said that in recent days the enemy significantly intensified shelling of the village, there were “arrivals” in neighboring houses, children were very frightened and parents decided to leave, because they do not have their own transport. People explained that they dared to evacuate because of the children, their safety and health.
Police officers, together with volunteers and local authorities on special armored vehicles, took families from the shelled areas to collection points, and from there the evacuees went to safer regions of the state.
