This was announced today, August 8, by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on the air of the All-Ukrainian Telemarathon #UАразом.

According to Yevgeny Yenin, correctors and other manuals of the military of the Russian Federation and the Russian Federation are detected by Ukrainian law enforcement officers on an ongoing basis. Every week, from 7 to 15 thousand people are checked, causing suspicion.

“Since the beginning of the war, 1,600 people have been detained who may be involved in cooperation with the occupiers. In such people, we usually find firearms, grants, ammunition. Directly by the departments of strategic investigation and criminal investigation, only last week the sabotage group was exposed and 14 people detained. In total, more than 1100 criminal proceedings have been initiated on the facts of cooperation of the population or citizens with the enemy in its interests, 193 persons have been notified of suspicion and a hundred cases are already in court. And we do not stop there,” said the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Separately, Yevgeny Yenin drew attention to the inadmissibility of violation by citizens of the established rules during the crossing of checkpoints. He also recalled the observance of curfew.

“The vigilance of our law enforcement officers has saved more than one life. Just over the weekend in Kyiv region, during an inspection at one of the checkpoints, one of the drivers gave gas, and law enforcement officers had to work hard to find it,” the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine noted.

As Yevgeny Yenin noted, earlier saboteurs were identified according to simple criteria — whether it was a corresponding Russian accent or a person could not navigate the terrain, etc. Such models of suspicious behavior remain relevant today, and therefore, seeing a suspicious person photographing checkpoints or critical infrastructure objects, it is better to immediately contact law enforcement.

“The saboteurs have gone nowhere — and that's my main message. Perhaps their productivity has decreased slightly or they have gone into “sleep mode”, but this does not mean that they are not,” Yevgeny Yenin added.
