Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, police explosives have defused about 12,000 explosive objects in Chernihiv region

“Almost every day we receive reports about the detection of explosive objects - ammunition of barrel and jet artillery, anti-tank and anti-personnel mines, grenades, etc.,” says the head of the department of the explosive service of the Chernihiv region police Volodymyr Sirenko.

The departure of a team of explosives engineers for the disposal of ammunition begins with the loading into special cars of explosive equipment, means of search and destruction of explosive objects, as well as personal protective equipment of the explosives themselves.

As a rule, the work trip for the search, collection and disposal of explosive metal lasts from the morning until the evening.

Be careful and careful even in depopulated areas. If you find a suspicious object, contact the police or the State Emergency Service.
