Students of Kyiv Lyceum and theater actors visited the fighters in rehabilitation with a patriotic concert
Students of one of the capital's lyceums visited the rehabilitation center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine to support Ukrainian servicemen, donate pictures and sing patriotic songs.
“It was very nice when the children came into the ward with goodies and their drawings that they drew for us. My son is waiting for me from the war, so it was very sad,” shared the national guard, who is now in the center undergoing rehabilitation after a serious injury.
Schoolchildren decided to organize a concert for fighters in the open air. According to the students of the specialized school No. 49, they prepared the program for about two weeks and this is not the first experience to speak before the defenders of Ukraine.
“For us, this is not the first time and every time it is very important to maintain the fighting spirit and good mood for the military. We thank them very much for the opportunity to go to study and live,” said the 11-grader.
Actors of the theater Larisa Rusnak and Vladimir Maliarenko also made the fighters smile. They read poems, sang folk and bard songs, and also told interesting stories from life.
The event was dedicated to the Day of Defenders and Defenders.
