Police officers and volunteers evacuated 11 locals from Kupyansk region, including five children
Volunteers together with the assistant head of the GUNP in the Kharkiv region Vyacheslav Markov evacuated families with children and pets from dangerous areas of Kupyansk region.
A total of 11 people were taken, including 5 children. From the city of Kupyansk, police officers together with volunteers took a mother with four young children, the youngest just over a year old.
People were delivered to the city of Kharkiv, provided with free housing and food.
The city of Kupyansk and the village of Kupyansk-Vuzlovy are located a few kilometers from the front line. In settlements due to constant enemy artillery, mortar shelling, bombing by Russian aircraft, civilian infrastructure has been significantly destroyed. It is very dangerous to be there, so the police of Kharkiv region constantly help citizens to evacuate.
