Happy Mother's Day: congratulations for the dearest
Mom is the person who thinks first of all about every child, because there are no strangers. The one who will always pick up the phone, support, sincerely rejoice, soothe and find the right words that will be filled with her love.
Every year, on the second Sunday of May, Ukrainians congratulate their dearest and most important women on Mother's Day. During a full-scale war, thousands of parents, through pain and grief, released their brave sons and daughters to the front, in order to protect the entire state and fight for its freedom.
Mothers find the courage to remain strong and resilient, protecting their children's invisible but powerful wings. So it happened on February 24, 2022, when Ukrainians woke up to the sounds of explosions of Russian missiles.
Then Moms were forced to flee their home, in order to save the children, or to release their adult children to war. Let go where there are fierce and bloody battles. A place they don't always come back from.
Now the Mother, like a guardian, continues to protect each child with her prayer, wherever she is. And of course he always waits at home, where warm childhood memories warm and smells of spicy borscht.
May every mother wait for her son or daughter, who are now a strong protection for each of us. Happy Mother's Day, our best!
