From January 18, the service of the passenger train between Ukraine and Romania resumes
Currently, there is only freight rail service between Ukraine and Romania. However, from tomorrow, January 18, passenger trains №755/756 and №753/754 Rakhiv — Vala-Viceului — Rakhiv will operate in Romania. Border guards will provide passport control of passengers at the station “Rakhiv” one hour before departure.
Flights will depart daily at 6:10 and 14:10 and arrive in Vali Visheului at 7:45 and 15:45, respectively. In the opposite direction, trains will depart at 11:45 and 18:15 and arrive in Rakhiv at 12:20 and 18:50, respectively.
The start of these trains will significantly speed up transport links between Ukraine and the EU, as well as provide Ukrainians who have forcibly left Ukraine with additional transport opportunities to return home.
