From May 16, Ukraine will resume the operation of the camera for fixing violations of traffic rules. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky specifically for the Digest program of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Cameras will not work in the temporarily occupied territories. Currently, they are being tested and from Monday they will work, even, in those settlements that were previously occupied by the Russian army,” the Minister of Internal Affairs stressed.
The Minister also noted that the units of the National Police, which were involved in repelling the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, in those regions where possible, are already returning to performing directly police functions, for example, patrolling.
“Fixing traffic violations is one of the components of ensuring the safety of citizens. And also — this is one of the indicators of the general civilization of the state,” the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs summed up.
