From January 1, 2024, the cost of administrative services of the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be changed
From January 1, 2024, the cost of paid administrative services provided by the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs changes. The relevant amendments were made by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine №1386.
The cost of administrative services remained unchanged for more than 10 years even before the creation of service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. During this time, the price of material resources, maintenance of information support of state registers, computer equipment and maintenance of infrastructure increased.
The cost of fuel and lubricants for servicing vehicles has also increased. The same fleet of service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is updated with modern cars, and exam classes for passing theoretical exams are equipped with computer equipment. Therefore, the cost of paid administrative services was economically unreasonable and led to additional costs from the budget.
In this regard, the cost of some paid administrative services of service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs changes. Previously, the cost of theoretical and practical exams was 13 UAH, issuance of driver's licenses — 26 UAH. The price of registration actions with vehicles was 200 UAH.
From January 1, the cost of popular administrative services of service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is set at the level of:
● issuance of a driver's license - 230 UAH; ● passing theoretical exams - 250 UAH; ● passing practical exams - 420 UAH;
● registration and re-registration of vehicles - 350 UAH.
Please note that the specified cost does not take into account the commission of a banking institution or payment system. Due to the establishment of reasonable fees for administrative services, it will be possible to improve their quality and efficiency. Also eliminate the unprofitable activities of territorial service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and increase the filling of state and local budgets.
If we compare the cost of administrative services in European countries, there it is much higher and corresponds to the economic cost. For example, in Poland, the cost of obtaining a registration certificate is approximately 776 UAH, a theoretical exam - 274 UAH, and a practical one - 1270 UAH. Even higher prices in Latvia. Obtaining a driver's license will cost 897 UAH, passing a theoretical exam — 614 UAH, and a practical one — 1566 UAH.
