In the second issue of the special project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “Heroes” we tell about the sniper sergeant of the 25th brigade of the National Guard “Yakuzu”. At the age of 28, he fought under Bakhmut and in the Lyman direction.

“The enemy carried out offensives with a frequency of one hour, in groups of 15-30 people,” the guard recalls.

The attacks by the Russians continued for weeks. In addition to infantry, the enemy constantly used artillery, tanks and FPV drones.

During the fighting in the Bakhmut and Estuary directions, he received 12 shrapnel wounds. After the injury, the man underwent a long rehabilitation. He later returned to the service.

“Do you want to live - dig - the basic rule of preserving life at the front. But because of constant shelling, you can't dig for a long time, you also need to shoot,” says Yakuza
