Today, January 22, during the patrol of the territory of the Novotroitsk territorial community on the highway near the village. Following the rapid response teams of the local police department Denis Dimin and Oleksandr Martynyuk saw the car that drove into the Kakhovsky Main Canal. There was an elderly man in the vehicle who could not open the door and unfasten his seat belt.

The police called an ambulance and immediately rushed to help. Denis opened the door of the car and with the help of a lighter ignited and broke the seat belt, freeing the victim from the trap. At this time, the rescue was joined by indifferent local residents, who passed nearby and stopped to help law enforcement. Then police inspectors, together with citizens, began to pull the man out of the water to the shore.

An ambulance took an 82-year-old man to the hospital. In the medical institution, doctors found that the elderly driver was in danger, because the pressure rose in him, and the man was also threatened with hypothermia. So the joint actions of the police and caring citizens managed to save his life.

We thank the inspectors for their determination, ingenuity and conscientious performance of official duties. So keep it up!
