“The house exploded, and the Lord saved me”: police continue to evacuate residents of Liman community (VIDEO)
Zakitnoe, Torskoye and other villages near the front are constantly under Russian shelling. Recently, the last resident of Yampolivka village was killed — a rocket hit the house of a 64-year-old man.
In turn, the police are driving around the settlements and convincing the residents to evacuate - so they managed to save two more lives.
The house of an 84-year-old Torsky resident was destroyed by a targeted strike by Russian troops. She was outside at this time, survived by a miracle.
For more than a year, the woman wandered through neighboring houses, also damaged by shelling. Only after repeated persuasions of law enforcement officers agreed to go to relatives in Zhytomyr region.
The lives of elderly residents are threatened not only by enemy shells, but also by the lack of adequate nutrition and medical care.
So, the 59-year-old resident of Zakitnoe “to the last” stayed at home, and when his health deteriorated, he decided to join his family, which lives in the Lviv region.
The “White Angels” helped both citizens safely get out of the fire and reach their relatives.
