“CHARTER”. OFFENSIVE GUARD. How it all began
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine continues a special project in which it tells about each of the brigades of the “Guard of Offensive”. In this series we talk about “Charter” — a powerful unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, which was created from the same name Voluntary Formation of Territorial Communities in Kharkiv.
The fighters of the “Charter” were one of the first to defend the Kharkiv region and gave a decent repulse to the enemy, who invaded the region from the northeast. In September 2022, the “Charter” liberated Kharkiv region as part of the Slobozhansky counteroffensive of the Armed Forces. In November 2022, the fighters took part in fierce battles with the enemy in the Svatov direction in the Luhansk region, and in December they held the defense in the Battle for Bakhmut. In March 2023, the unit of the DFTG “Khartia” entered the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine and became the basis of the 13th Brigade operational appointment of the NGU.
In the ranks of the unit are highly motivated fighters, professionals in their field.
