The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
“The enemy cynically hit the city with air bombs in the afternoon - just on residential buildings. High-rise buildings, kindergarten - this is what became the target of terrorists,” the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs stressed.
At the same time, he said that in the first minutes the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were at the scene — they evacuated people, provided assistance to the victims, recorded the consequences.
As of now, the number of victims has increased to 19 people, the Minister noted, among them are children 13, 9, 2 years old. The smallest victim is only 3 months old. Unfortunately, one man could not be saved.
The Russians carried out the same air strike today in Donetsk region. In Pokrovsky district, 29 apartment buildings and shops were damaged. Two people were injured.
“Thank you to those who work in the areas of impact: investigators, rescuers, explosives, patrolmen, psychologists — everyone who rescues and supports civilians. To everyone who records Russia's crimes for international courts,” Igor Klymenko summed up in his Telegram channel.
