Dmitry Finashin and Alexander Novoselsky took part in fierce battles in Luhansk region.
National guard Dmitry was a sniper. Severely wounded during a reconnaissance raid, he spent two days reaching Ukrainian positions. Repeatedly lost consciousness. Dmitry fought desperately for his life, drinking water from the swamp to quench his thirst and reach his own.
Doctors could not save his hand, but saved his life.
Alexander received numerous bullet and shrapnel wounds during battles with the enemy. It was only through his irresistible will and good physical preparation that the wounded man was able to hold out for 11 hours before being evacuated.
The wives of the heroes: Dmitry — Irina and Alexandra — Lolita, experienced terrible times of anxiety for their husbands. But for now, doctors give a good prognosis for their recovery.
