Six-month-old Ilai from Donetsk region, rescued by police, celebrates his first St. Nicholas Day
Gifts for the baby were handed over by paramedics, including his savior - Ruslan Gubanov.
About a week ago, during the Russian attack on Pokrovsk, Ruslan helped a man with a bloodied baby in his arms get out of the ruins of the house. The paramedic immediately took the little one to the hospital. Fortunately, the child did not receive serious injuries - the mother covered the son with her.
Both parents of the boy were injured, but are recovering.
Law enforcement officers visited Eli and his family. Brought the essentials: diapers, baby food and toys for development.
The boy feels good. Together with his mother and older brother, he is with relatives because the family home is completely destroyed. The family decided to evacuate from Donetsk region as soon as the father was discharged from the hospital.
There is another happy news: the dog Teddy, who was believed to be dead, was also saved. All night the four-legged stayed under the rubble, and in the morning he managed to get out. All scratched with fragments, but alive.
It is fortunate that Eli and his whole family survived. However, unfortunately, such a miracle does not happen every day.
