This was announced on his official Telegram channel by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko.
“The deceased was a 31-year-old police captain. My condolences to the family of the deceased. Now the doctors and paramedics of the police are fighting for the lives of the wounded. Several people are in serious condition,” said the Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It is known that four employees of the National Police were among the 12 wounded.
“Police officers stay with the local population even in the hottest spots. Serve and protect. At the cost of one's own health and life,” Ihor Klymenko stressed.
