The enemy continues to shell Sumy region
Yesterday, July 17, Russian occupation forces continued shelling the borders of Sumy region.
The Yunakovskaya, Shalyginskaya, Hlukhiv, Novoslobodsk and Belopil communities were under enemy fire.
In the afternoon, from the Russian settlement of the hornal, the enemy fired from mortars one of the settlements of the Yunakovskaya hromada, 4 attacks.
In the evening, the occupiers covered the territory of the Bilopil community with mortar fire. The shelling was carried out from the Russian settlement of Teotkino, with a total of 25 parishes.
From the side of the same settlement, the enemy fired from barrel artillery on the Novoslobodsk community, 5 explosions were recorded.
Shalyginskaya community was twice bombarded from Russian territory by 120 mm mortars and SAU, 34 explosions.
On the territory of the Glukhiv community, the enemy fired mortars of 120 mm caliber, 10 explosions were recorded.
Fortunately, there were no casualties. Information on infrastructure damage is being clarified.
In all directions, the enemy actively uses UAVs and means of electronic warfare.
Components of the Defense Forces continue to defend the country from Russian invaders.
