The enemy continues to shell the borders of Sumy and Chernihiv regions
Yesterday, August 18, the enemy inflicted fire damage using mortars, jet and barrel artillery.
Under enemy fire were Krasnopol, Myropilsk, Belopil communities of Sumy region, Semenovsk and Novgorod-Seversky communities of Chernihiv region.
During the day, on four occasions, the enemy shelled the territory of Bilopil community with mortars and barrel artillery, a total of 35 explosions were heard. The fire was from the side of the Russian settlements of Wolfino, the new road and the rim. As a result of the morning's shelling, a non-residential building and school premises in one of the settlements of the community were damaged.
Twice in a day from the Russian settlement of Sluchevsk, enemy rocket and barrel artillery covered the territory of the Novgorod-Seversky community with fire, in total more than two dozen explosions were recorded.
In the morning, 3 mines of 120 mm caliber were fired on the territory of the Semenovsk community, which the Russians fired from the area of the Russian settlement of Lokot.
After lunch from a Russian settlement, towering occupiers with 82-mm mortars struck the outskirts of one of the settlements of the Krasnopol community, about a dozen explosions were heard.
In the afternoon, the occupiers with 120 mm mortars covered one of the settlements of the Myropol community, there were two dozen explosions. The fire was from the side of the Russian settlement of Plekhovo.
