The enemy continues to shell the border of Sumy region
Yesterday, August 19, Russian occupation forces continued shelling the borders of Sumy region.
The enemy inflicted fire damage with the use of mortars. Krasnopol, Belopil and Shalygin communities were under enemy fire.
In the morning, the enemy from the Russian settlement of Teotkino shelled the territory of the Belopil community with mortars, with about a dozen explosions.
Also, twice a day, the occupiers covered the territory of the Krasnopol community with mortar fire, in total more than a dozen 120-mm mines flew. Fire was fired from the Russian settlements of terebrino and starosilla.
In addition, a tragic event occurred on the territory of the same community — on a field road on a mini car “ZIL” blew up, moving along the side of the road. The driver died on the spot.
In the Shalygin community during enemy shelling, the Russians fired more than twenty shells and, according to preliminary data, about 40 RSVR attacks were recorded, as a result of which civilian infrastructure was damaged. There are no casualties.
The Armed Forces continue to defend Ukraine from Russian invaders.
