Enemy continues shelling of Sumy and Chernihiv region border
Within a day, the Esmansk and Central Buda communities of Sumy region and Semenivska hromada of Chernihiv region were under enemy fire.
The enemy inflicted fire damage with the use of SAU and mortars. On the territory of the Esmansk community, the Russians twice fired from barrel artillery, as a result of which more than half a hundred explosions occurred. As a result of the shelling, a local resident was injured, and civilian infrastructure was also damaged.
The enemy also opened fire twice on the Central Buda community, fired mortars and artillery shells, and almost two dozen attacks were recorded. As a result of the shelling, the infrastructure of one of the settlements of the community was damaged.
The enemy fired three times at the Semenivka community with mortars and barrel artillery. In total, about 60 explosions were recorded. The enemy opened fire in the direction of Ukraine from the Russian settlements of Lomakivka and Kurkovichi.
This morning, Russian occupation forces continued shelling the borders of Sumy region. From the Russian settlement of Wolfino, the enemy with the use of 120-mm mortars shelled the territory of the Belopil community, in total more than two dozen mines flew. As a result of the shelling, private dwellings of one of the settlements were damaged. Also, hiding from shelling, one civilian died, previously from a heart attack.
The Armed Forces continue to defend Ukraine from Russian invaders.
